We don't browse your books. Our team opens one only to help you, fix a problem, or check pages before printing.
All uploads use HTTPS encryption. Data is protected as it travels to our servers.
All AI-generated stories and illustrations are filtered for age-appropriate content.
To draw your characters, we send your photos to OpenAI's image models. Under OpenAI's business terms, what we send isn't used to train their models. It is processed on their systems, though, so that part is outside our control, and we'd rather tell you than gloss over it. You can read their policy directly.
Exactly what happens, step by step
Your photo travels over HTTPS (encrypted) to Vercel's cloud servers, where we store it.

We don't train any AI ourselves. We use OpenAI's existing models. OpenAI states API data isn't used for training by default, but we can't independently verify third-party practices.
